2018 GT Avalanche Comp

Brand new in, the GT Avalanche Comp has been updated for 2018. The little brother to the Zaskar this a mountain capable bike at a lower price. Perfect if you want to get into mountain biking but not sure where to go and what discipline you'e aiming for. The Avalanche would be equally at home on the Strawberry Line or Ashton Court and equal trail centres.

Built using a high-grade 6061-T6 aluminium, the hardtail MTB frame is a superb foundation on which the Avalanche is built. Designed with a tapered head tube that enhances steering precision, and GT’s trademark Triple Triangle seatstay design which reduces flex and enhances durability, the Avalanche is ready to take on the mountains.

The GT Avalanche Comp is offered with two wheel sizes depending on the size of the frame. The Medium, Large and Extra Large models are offered with 29er wheels, while the Extra Small and Small models with 27.5 inch wheels.
